I Love Carnival Cruising!

I love cruising on Carnival! I know many people have heard it’s not as nice as other cruise lines. I can't agree! Did you know Carnival owns many of the others? Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, Fathom, P&O Cruises, P&O Cruises Australia, Cunard. Yep, they own some of the high-end lines!
I have heard people say they hear Carnival is just a party cruise. I think the shorter cruises on the older ships, probably are much more of a party than the ones we go on. We have only done a couple of five day cruises and did find it was a little different than the seven day cruises.

We prefer seven days on the newer ships! The newer ships (the Vista is the newest) are spacious, trendy, and full of exciting thing to do. Everything from an IMAX theater to a waterpark. There are so many options for cabins too!
I've found that the value of sailing on Carnival is generally very good and I am never disappointed.
Last year we sailed on Princess for two weeks. I wanted to jump ship in Cozumel and get on a Carnival ship! I was so glad to have our friends onboard with us because it was not an exciting ship to be on.
Our Princess Experience:
The Lido deck was always quiet with no activities or dancing. I’m not a party animal but I love watching other people have fun!
A much older crowd. I prefer dodging kids in stroller over grouchy old people on scooter or pushing walkers around! lol
The balcony stateroom was much smaller with no couch like similar priced balconies on Carnival.
The bathroom shower was very small! I know… you didn’t think they could get any smaller.
Lines for everything. You even had to stand in line to get ice cream!
Not much to do in the evening. No late night comedy or dancing!
I think you will love sailing on the Vista and look forward to having a great time meeting our fellow painters, learning from each other, and building our businesses.
